Description of Service:

LondonEnergy invite suppliers to bid for the collection, treatment and recycling of Plasterboard for a contract period of 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 x one-year extensions (3+1+1)

Contract commencement date: 1st of February 2026

The tender shall be for ONE LOT for the Collection and recycling of c.600t PA Plasterboard from 7 HWRC Facilities situated across the North London Area with potential for an additional facility to be included over the course of the contract.

  • To service this contract, the contractor shall provide:
  • Haulage - A list of collection locations can be found in section 4 alongside estimated monthly uplifts per site.
  • 7 x covered 20yd containers suitable for use at public facing HWRCs (possibility of adding a further site in the first 12 months of the contract).
  • Prospective bidders will submit a proposal that ensures the acceptance and onward treatment of LondonEnergy's Plasterboard with an aim of achieving a 100% recycling rate for compliant material. Supplier proposals may outline alternative non landfill treatment via to assist in contingency planning amounting for no more than 10% total annual throughput.
