When does the Verified Supplier Directory ship?
Coming soon. It is included in CleanTender Pro at no extra cost when it ships. Pro subscribers will be invited to set up their profile during onboarding emails, with full control over visibility and what content appears.
Why does this matter? Aren't all public-sector contracts published on Find a Tender?
Above-threshold contracts (over £139,688) are published on Find a Tender. Below-threshold contracts (£12,000 to £139,688 for central government, £30,000 to £139,688 for sub-central) became visibility-mandatory on Contracts Finder under the Procurement Act 2023, but many still get awarded via direct quote requests. Buyers searching for 'commercial cleaners in Leeds' or 'CHAS approved security in Manchester' end up on directories or Google. The Verified Supplier Directory makes you the result they find.
Is the profile actually indexable on Google?
Yes. Each profile is a public, server-rendered page on cleantender.co.uk with full schema markup (Organization, LocalBusiness where applicable, and Service entities). The URL pattern is cleantender.co.uk/suppliers/[sector]/[location]/[your-firm], so you target long-tail keywords like 'ISO 9001 commercial cleaners Leeds' or 'CHAS approved grounds maintenance Manchester'. As CleanTender's domain authority grows, your supplier page rides on it.
What can I hide?
Anything except your company name and a basic description (those are mandatory so the directory is useful to buyers). Toggle off exact revenue, headcount, full client list, individual contract values, the names of your subcontractors. Toggle on what you want buyers to see: accreditations, insurance levels, sectors covered, years in business, locations served, social value commitments, BICSc / SIA / NPTC qualifications.
Can I use my profile in cold outreach to council buyers?
