Tender brief

Leicestershire County Council (the Council) has a requirement for the compliant removal of waste generated in connection with highway maintenance activities in accordance with the Waste Duty of Care Code of Practice November 2018. The Council is looking to appoint up to five suitably qualified and experienced Bidders who can provide services in connection with each of the following

Lots

  • Lot 1 - bulk collection of highway maintenance waste (South Leicestershire)
  • Lot 2 - bulk collection of highway maintenance waste (North Leicestershire)
  • Lot 3 - bulk collection of dewatered gully waste
  • Lot 4 - provision and collection of skips (South Leicestershire)
  • Lot 5 - provision and collection of skips (North Leicestershire) The Council is looking to appoint any number of suitably qualified and experienced Bidders who can provide tipping facilities within Leicestershire or within ten miles of the border of Leicestershire to the following lot:
  • Lot 6 - provision of accessible tipping facilities Suitably qualified and experienced Bidders can bid for one or more lots. Successful Bidders can be appointed to more than one lot. Successful Bidders will be appointed to an NEC4 Framework Contract as Suppliers. Suppliers will be selected to provide services for each lot in accordance with the Framework Contract's selection procedure.
